After an apprenticeship as a healthcare management clerk, Laura Marsollek has studied Biochemical Engineering at TU Dortmund University since 2014. She completed her Bachelor's thesis with the topic ‘Measurement and Modeling of reaction equilibrium and reaction enthalpy of phosphofructokinease reaction‘ at the Laboratory of Thermodynamics in collaboration with the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in Leipzig. After a semester abroad at the Universidade de Aveiro in Portugal, Laura graduated with the Master's thesis ‘Deep Reinforcement Learning based Control of a Spinning band Column’ at the Laboratory of Equipment Design in 2023. Since July 2023 she works as a research associate at the Laboratory of Equipment Design.
